Jeanne Remy Evers worked at Radio City Music Hall from 1947 to 1948. At 16 yrs old she was the youngest person ever to be a Rockette. Jeanne attended the College of Mount St. Vincent from 1949 to 1950 and continued to dance at the Hall from 1950 to 1951. Since leaving Radio City Music Hall Jeanne owned dance studios in NJ, MA and PA, teaching for a total of 40 years. Now that she's retired Jean is teaching the "Pocono Silver Tappers." They are members of the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (R.S.V.P.) and perform at nursing himes and senior centers. Jean's daughter, Carrie Evers-Messing was also a Rockette. She now runs a dance studio in East Stroudsburg and Tobyhanna, PA.
